Privacy Policy — Last updated April 15, 2026

StackAttack ("the App") is developed and operated by Inefficient Code. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data required to operate the game's features:

Anonymous User Identifier
A random anonymous ID is created when you first open the App using Firebase Authentication. No name, email address, or any personal identifier is required. If you choose to link your Google or Apple account, your account UID is used to tie your game data to that account — no additional personal data is stored by us.
Game Progress & Scores
High scores, credit balance, daily streak, and achievements are stored on PlayFab servers (Microsoft) linked to your anonymous user ID. This data is used to power leaderboards and preserve your progress across reinstalls.
Purchase History
In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (e.g. Unlimited Play). RevenueCat receives your anonymous user ID and purchase receipt. No payment card details are ever shared with us.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised usage data (e.g. session length, feature usage). This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the App.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

Data Storage & Security

Game progress is stored on Microsoft Azure servers (via PlayFab) and Google Cloud servers (via Firebase). Local device storage is used to cache your game state for offline access. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all server communication.

Data Retention

Your game data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Anonymous accounts with no activity for 24 months may be automatically deleted.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
