Puzzoku · Inefficient Code · Version 1.0
Welcome to Puzzoku support. Find answers to common questions below, or get in touch directly — we're happy to help.
Puzzoku is an arithmetic logic puzzle. Your goal is to fill the grid by placing all the pieces so that:
Drag pieces from the library tray at the bottom of the screen onto the board. Tap the library button to expand the full piece list. Pieces that can't legally be placed in the current position will be indicated on the board.
Tap the lightbulb icon during a game to request a hint. The hint system will highlight a misplaced piece and animate it to a valid destination. Each hint adds 30 seconds to your puzzle time.
My progress disappeared after reinstalling — can I get it back?
Progress is saved locally on your device. On iOS, progress is stored in UserDefaults and will survive reinstalls as long as the app was not fully removed and the device was not wiped. Unfortunately if you deleted the app, local data cannot be recovered as we do not store anything on a server.
How do I reset my progress?
There is currently no in-app reset option. To start fresh, uninstall and reinstall the app.
What does the operator symbol on a piece mean?
The number shown on a piece is the target result. The operator tells you which arithmetic operation the cells must produce: + (add all cells), − (largest minus the rest), × (multiply all cells), ÷ (largest divided by the rest). Single-cell pieces simply show the number that must go in that cell.
What is the daily streak?
Win at least one puzzle per day to maintain your streak. If you miss a day, your streak resets to zero. Your best streak is saved separately.
Why does a piece show a red highlight on the board?
A red or pulsing highlight means a conflict — the piece is currently positioned so that a row or column contains a repeated number, or the piece's arithmetic result doesn't match its target. Move the piece to a different position to resolve it.
The app isn't working correctly on my device — what should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app first. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall. If you're still having trouble, please contact us with your device model and iOS version and we'll investigate.
